Arab coalition warplanes on Sunday launched 10 raids on Houthi positions in eastern Taiz, Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath reported.

The all-news network said the raids coincided with attempts of the Yemeni army and their loyal resistance troops to storm security forces' camps in eastern Taiz.

Spokesman of the Yemeni Army in Taiz Colonel Mansour al Hassani announced on Saturday that units of the Yemeni army carried out successful military operations against Houthis and militants loyal to former Yemeni president Ali Abdallah Saleh, leaving at least 25 elements killed.

The Yemeni army has made bug advances and seized strategic locations in western and southern Taiz.
