Saudi-led coalition air defense systems intercept Houthis ballistic missile on Mareb

Arab coalition Patriot defense systems intercepted two ballistic missiles launched by Houthis and militants loyal to former president Ali Abdallah Saleh on Ma'reb governorate, in eastern Sanaa.

Saba Media Center, an affiliate to the popular resistance forces loyal to Yemeni President Abdel Rabou Mansour Hadi, said the two missiles were destroyed with no damage reported.

Meanwhile, Yemeni army and resistance forces repelled an attack by Houthi militants on Tarif Mountains in Serwah directorate in western Ma'reb.

A military source said the militants carried out an attack with the use of heavy and medium-light weapons on Tarif positions and the government forces fired back and inflicted damage on the militants equipment and left scores of militants dead.
