6 Al Qaeda elements killed in drone attack in Marib

The United States has carried out numerous drone strikes against Al-Qaeda in the Arabian

Six elements of Al Qaeda group were killed in a drone attack in Wadi Obeida area in Marib province, east of the capital Sanaa.

A website, affiliated to the Yemeni Congregation for Reform, quoted a local source as saying that a US drone strike targeted a group of Al Qaeda militants in Marib province on Sunday evening, killing six militants.

US drones hit every now and then outposts of Al Qaeda group in several Yemeni governorates, leaving several of the group's leaders dead.
