Death toll in Jawf and Ta'izz strikes rises to 35

Twenty-three Houthis were killed and scores others injured in clashes with Yemeni army and resistance forces, the media center of the fifth military zone in Yemen said in a statement Sunday.

According to the statement, the clashes erupted in the wake of an offensive launched against Houthi-held posts in Hajjah governorate, in northeastern Yemen, on its borders with Saudi Arabia.

The army forces seized weapons and ammunition after militias fled the attacked posts, read the statement.

Meanwhile, the military operation carried out in al Gheil village in al Jawf governorate left 21 Houthi militias dead. Scores others were injured and captured, according to the resistance media office in the eastern Yemeni governorate of al Jawf which is a main stronghold of Houthis.
