At least 37 militants were killed and dozens others injured from Houthis and militias loyal to former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh in clashes with the army and resistance forces in Taiz.

Also, five were killed from the Yemeni army and nine others injured in the skirmishes which the army and resistance forces launched to purge the strategic sites in the city form the militiamen.

Around 12 civilians sustained wounds amid the random shelling the militias conducted against the populated neighborhoods in Taiz.
