30 Houthi militants killed in several areas in Yemen

At least 30 Houthi militants were killed during clashes with the army and resistance forces in Nahm directorate in eastern Sanaa and Taez in the southwest of the country. 

Resistance Spokesman Abdullah al Shendaqi, on his Facebook page, said government forces controlled the mountainous areas to the eastern and southern of Yam Mountain and chased out the militants to Dhaboua area.

At least 12 militants were killed in the clashes that have been going on since Sunday night, while eight elements of the government troops were killed and seven others injured.

Arab coalition jets on Sunday night shelled Houthi targets in Nahm. The shelling hit military reinforcements of Houthis, killing 10 members of them.

In Taez, clashes have been going on between the two conflicting parties. The military council in Taez said clashes left eight militants killed and 10 others injured.

Meanwhile, Military Commander of the Second Military Zone in Mukella district in southern Yemen said five military personnel of the Yemeni army were killed in the clashes.
