Six Houthi militants were killed and nine others injured in clashes in Yemen's Taiz city.

The media center of the military council said Tuesday that two elements of the pro-government forces were killed and 11 others injured in shelling of residential areas in Taiz city.

Six civilians were also wounded in the shelling, the center added.
