At least 12 elements of Houthis were killed and scores of others wounded in clashes between the Yemeni army and Houthi militants in Nahem directorate in eastern Sanaa.

Spokesman for the Higher Resistance Council in Sanaa Abdullah el Shandaqi said the Yemeni army and its affiliate resistance forces controlled Kula Mountain area after fierce clashes with the Houthis.

Two personnel from the army and resistance troops were killed and six others were injured.

Clashes have been going on till Saturday night and legitimate Yemeni troops are making a progress to liberate other areas on the road to Sanaa.
