The Afghan intelligence operatives have foiled a terrorist attack plot by the Haqqani terrorist network on a hotel in Kabul, local Khaama reported.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) said Saturday a suspected militant was looking to carry out the attack on a hotel in Shahr-e-Naw part of the city using 2 improvised explosive devices.
This comes as the US Embassy in Kabul issued a security alert to US citizens regarding a possible attack on a hotel in Kabul city.
This was the fourth large attack plot by Haqqani terrorist network which have been thwarted by the Afghan intelligence operatives in the country within the past few days.
