Death toll from suicide bombings hits 72

The death toll from a suicide bombing at the Shiite Imam Zaman mosque

The death toll from a suicide bombing at the Shiite Imam Zaman mosque in western Kabul during Friday prayer has risen to 39, Sky News Arabia reported.

In a separated attack, officials said at least 33 people were killed when a suicide bomber detonated explosives at a Sunni mosque in central Ghor Province. 

No group has so far claimed responsibility for either attack.
