At least 51 Taliban fighters, including two commanders, were killed and 17 others injured in an operation by Afghan forces in north-eastern Afghanistan, the Defense Ministry said on Saturday.According to dpa, three soldiers were killed and nine others were injured in the operation.The operation took place in the Wardooj district in the Badakhshan province, where 18 Afghan soldiers were killed by Taliban fighters last month. Eleven soldiers were kidnapped.
