 A deadly suicide attack rocked Afghan capital Kabul early Sunday, leaving at least four people dead and 22 others injured. The incident took place in Karte Naw area of Kabul city, Afghan news agency (Khaama Press) reported. Security officials in Kabul confirmed the report and said the target of the bomber was a vehicle of the Afghan national army personnel.

Gen. Zahir Azimi, spokesman for the defense ministry of Afghanistan said, two Afghan army personnel and two civilians including a woman were killed and 22 others were injured.

The Taliban group spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid claiming responsibility behind the incident, said at least 27 army personnel were killed or injured following the suicide attack.
