Six people were killed and 30 others wounded in a Taliban attack on a police training center in Gardez, the capital of Paktia province in the east of Afghanistan, an Afghan health official said. 

The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack, the BBC reported on Tuesday with no further details.
