At least 24 passengers were killed Sunday after their bus collided with a fuel tanker in western Afghanistan, dpa cited police as saying.
'The incident took place in the morning on the highway between Herat city and the Iran-border city of Islam Qala,' said Abdul Raouf Ahmadi, police spokesman for Herat province.
