At least 24 terrorist Daesh group militants were killed on Saturday in clashes with civilians in Nangarhar province, eastern Afghanistan.
The clashes broke out between civilians and Daesh militants in the province, then terrorist Taliban group militants engaged in the clashes and kidnapped five Daesh militants, local officials told Afghan Khaama Press news agency.
Meanwhile, Helmand Chief of Police Abdul Ghaffar Al Safy said earlier Saturday that 12 members of the Afghan security forces were killed and two others wounded in an accidental air strike carried out on Friday by the US forces in Helmand, southern Afghanistan.
