At least two NATO soldiers were killed following militantsattack in eastern Afghanistan on Monday, the International Security AssistanceForce (ISAF) said in a statement.ISAF said the two service members were died as a result of enemy forces’ attacks ineastern Afghanistan on Monday.The statement by ISAF did not disclose further information regarding the exactlocation of the incident and nationalities of the deceased soldiers. ISAF generally do not disclose identities of the NATO soldiers killed in Afghanistan,saying, “It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevantnational authorities.”This comes as five British troops were killed after their helicopter crashed insouthern Kandahar province of Afghanistan earlier last week.At least 29 NATO service members including 16 American troops, six British soldierand seven troops from the NATO member countries have been killed in Afghanistansince the beginning of the year.
