A senior Somali government official was critically injured when a bomb hidden inside his car exploded in the capital Mogadishu, officials said Monday according to dpa.Deputy governor of the southern Lower Shabelle region, Ahmed Omar, was driving through the city centre when the bomb exploded.Investigations are underway," Lower Shabelle governor Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur told dpa.No group claimed responsibility.
