At least a Palestinian was injured with live ammunition, while several others were injured with rubber-coated steel bullets and others suffocated by tear gas during confrontations with Israeli forces which erupted at predawn Sunday across Hebron in the southern West Bank, according to media sources.
WAFA correspondent said confrontations broke out across Hebron, where Israeli soldiers fired live and rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and poison gas towards local residents, shooting and injuring at least one man with live ammunition. He was transferred to hospital for medical treatment.
During the offensive, several Palestinians were injured with rubber-coated bullets, while others suffocated by poison gas inhalation. They all received medical treatment at the scene except two Palestinians who were transferred to hospital for treatment after being shot with rubber-coated bullets.
In the meantime, army stormed the nearby Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, amid firing rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards local residents and homes. At least one Palestinian was injured with a steel bullet in the incident. He was transferred to hospital for medical treatment.
Thirteen others were also reported injured with rubber-coated bullets, while dozens others suffocated after inhaling poison gas, which is internationally prohibited.
