Scores of Palestinian protesters, who flooded West Bank streets to protest the Israeli military offensive on Gaza Strip, were wounded in clashes with Israeli police.
Disgruntled Palestinians have organized several demonstrations and rallies in different West Bank cities to protest the Israeli offensive on Gaza and to show solidarity with Gaza people. The protests started Saturday evening and continued till early hours of Sunday.
Eyewitnesses told KUNA that the violent clashes broke out when Israeli police tried to disperse the gatherings using teargas bombs, stun grenades and rubber-coated bullets. In response, the protesters hurled stones and empty bottles at the Israeli troops.
Dozens of the protesters were injured in the clashes, including one whose condition was described as critical.
