Irans ambassador and permanent representative in the UN European Bureau in Geneva expressed deep concern of the member states of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) over deterioration of human rights (HR) situation in the occupied Palestine.
Speaking in the meeting of the Human Rights Council, the ambassador also expressed NAM member states support for the government and people of Palestine.
In the 25th meeting of the UN Human Rights Council to consider High Commissioner report, Mohsen Naziri-Asl underlined global principles and reciprocal dependence of human rights concepts and role of international cooperation in promotion of and support for human rights.
Referring to efforts of the high commissioner bureau in the field of developing approachs upon goals of the UN after 2015, including development right, Naziri-Asl called for presentation of initiatives and new ideas of the bureau for implementation of the development right in the framework of the UN work.
He underlined importance of strengthening international cooperation in the field of human right.
The ambassador also expressed concern over using drone planes in killing civilians.
