A young Palestinian citizen died on Saturday morning after being shot in Kafr Kana village by Israeli police, under claims that he attempted to stab an Israeli policeman.
Israeli police forces arrived at the village and an altercation occurred between them and a number of youths.
According to eyewitnesses, an Israeli policeman opened fire on the youth, who breathed his last in hospital.
Following his death, locals in the village announced a general strike in protest against the killing.
