Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday morning handed out demolition notices to seven Palestinian homesi n Aqabat Jaber refugee camp near Jericho, under the pretext of no building permit.

The notices included a three week notice to leave the homes before  applying the demolition order.

According to WAFA, although most of the land where the camp is built is located in Area A, under Palestinian administrative control, a little part of it is located Area C, under full Israeli control, where Israel refuses to permit any Palestinian construction. This has forced many Palestinians to embark on construction without an Israeli permit to shelter their families.
