As many as 121 Palestinians have so far been killed in a popular uprising that erupted in the occupied territories two months ago, the spokesman for the Palestinian Health Ministry said Saturday.

An additional 13,000 Palestinians have been injured in Israeli offensives against the Palestinian people, said Osama al Najjar in statements to MENA.

Of those killed, the bodies of 45 are still held by Israel, Najjar said.

He made it clear that the Palestinian Health Ministry is contacting international organizations to exercise pressure on Israel to release the bodies.
