The Yemeni government said on Saturday that an Iranian smuggling ship was seized after entering the territorial waters of Yemen.

The authorities are currently interrogating 29 sailors who are on board the ship, the government said in a press release quoted by Sky News.

The statement accused Iran of repeatedly violating the Yemeni waters and committing illegal operations including smuggling weapons.
