Beirut - Arab Today
Chairman of Casino du Liban, Roland Khoury, on Thursday indicated that the fresh security message the U.S. Embassy in Beirut sent earlier today to warn American nationals in Lebanon of a likely threat to their safety was a "routine measure", stressing that the procedure is not restricted to the Casino.
"The measures adopted by the U.S. Embassy in Beirut are of a routine nature and are not exclusively relevant to the Casino," Khoury said in a statement.
"The security measures taken by the Casino, in collaboration with the security apparatuses, include fix posts for the army Intelligence and the Internal Security Forces, in addition to an army outpost at the Casino’s entry and the presence of special guards and security members," he explained.
"The Casino’s administration is keen on the safety of its visitors," he underlined
