Russia arrests terrorist cell planning attacks in Moscow

Russian security forces today arrested members of a Daesh terrorist cell, which TASS, the Russian News Agency, said was planning to carry out a series of terrorist attacks and bombings on the outskirts of Moscow.

"Members of a clandestine Daesh cell have been taken into custody in the Moscow Region, thus thwarting terrorist attacks they had been planning to carry out in some crowded public areas," TASS said, quoting the Federal Security Service.
