Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese met Thursday with Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rai.

This came on the sidelines of the participation of the Maronite patriarch in the international conference organized by Al Azhar and the Muslim Council of Elders under the rubric of "Freedom and citizenship".

The event wrapped up on Wednesday.
