Chairman of Sharjah Media Council Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi said that national unity has been a key component of Emirati identity since the establishment of the UAE.

Speaking at the fourth edition of the Emirati Media Forum, he said that enhancing government communication policies is a key component of government work.

He also highlighted the media initiatives launched in Sharjah, and the importance of training in developing the skills of media personnel.

He said that the values of objectivity and professionalism should be deeply instilled among media professionals.
