Minister of Expatriates and Foreign Affairs, Adnan Mansour, told An-Noor radio station Tuesday that March 14 forces unrestrained campaign, against Lebanon's stance within Arab Foreign Ministers Council's meeting, reflected malicious sick personalities. Mansour stressed that Lebanon had made no decision during the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Council, pointing out that the council consensually agreed on not issuing any statement. He indicated that the whole campaign was built on wrong interpretations. Mansour considered that Syria's objection was right because the council's agreement was not respected. It is to note that Syria addressed a memorandum to the Arab League Secretary General pointing out that the statement published did not express the council's meeting final stance, thus Syria would not commit to it. Mansour stressed that "Lebanon has always supported Syria and its position, regarding that, is clear," pointing out that Lebanon would like to support Syria to go out of its crisis and enjoy stability and security.
