Iran plans to dispatch a 5,000-ton relief aid consignment to the famine-hit Somalia by sea in near future, Iran news agency (IRNA) reported. The consignment mainly includes pharmaceuticals as well as foodstuff needed by the Somalis, it added. Iran has so far sent six consignments, weighing almost 258 tons, to the famine-hit region in the horn of Africa.
