The Cypriot government has upgraded the \"General Delegation of Palestine\" in Cyprus to the \"Diplomatic Mission of Palestine in Cyprus\". In accordance with the Cabinet\'s decision, the Head of the Palestinian Mission was also upgraded from General Delegate of Palestine to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine to the Republic of Cyprus, presenting credentials to the President of Cyprus, the official Cyprus News Agency reported today. The Palestinian Authority is seeking to mobilize enough countries to recognize the Palestinian State, despite the United States and Israel\'s opposition to a unilateral declaration of a Palestinian State.
