Foreign Minister, Gebran Bassil, on Monday met with Head of the European Parliament's Delegation for relations with the Mashreq countries, Marisa Matias, with whom he discussed the current political situation in Lebanon and the broader Arab region.

The pair also dwelt on the Syrian refugee crisis, in addition to the ongoing preparations for the upcoming legislative polls
