His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has highlighted Russia’s growing international economic and political status and role in maintaining global security and peace, stressing Bahrain’s keenness to bolster cooperation with Russia in various fields.
This came as HRH Premier received, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, the outgoing Russian Ambassador to Bahrain, Vagif Garayev.
The Prime Minister stressed that Bahrain always looks forward to enhancing its cooperation with Russia in various fields, expressing satisfaction with the strength of the steadily-growing Bahraini-Russian relations.
HRH Premier extended thanks and appreciation to the Russian ambassador for the efforts he has exerted to enhance bilateral cooperation, wishing him every success in his future assignments.
HRH the Prime Minister requested the envoy to convey his greetings to the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, and his wishes of further success to the Russian president and government.
Ambassador Garayev lauded the interest of Bahrain, and the government, led by HRH the Prime Minister, in bolstering Bahraini-Russian relations in various fields.
He hailed the government’s support to him throughout his tenure, which, he said, has facilitated his mission in the kingdom.
