Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb met with Arab ambassadors to Indonesia in the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador Baha Desouki.

Present at the meeting were members of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE) in Jakarta on the sidelines of his visit to Indonesia.

The meeting tackled the latest developments in the Arab and Islamic countries.

The meeting also covered a role that may be 
played by the MEC in spreading peace and tolerance and denouncing any dispute or intolerance.

Tayyeb will deliver a speech to all Muslims all over the world from the Islamic University in Jakarta.

Tayyeb and his accompanying delegation arrived in Indonesia Sunday on an official landmark visit to Indonesia.
