Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Friday met at his Yarzeh office with the Minister of State for Combating Corruption, Nicolas Tueni, and his accompanying delegation.

Major General Aoun also met with the Secretary General of the Lebanese-Syrian Supreme Council, Nasri Khoury, with talks reportedly touching on the current situation along the Lebanese-Syrian border.

Aoun then met with a delegation of "Saadat al-Sama" Association, led by Father Majdi Allawi, on the occasion of the army day.

The delegation applauded the military's efforts and sacrifices for the sake of protecting Lebanon and consecrating its security and stability
