Amy Chief General Joseph Aoun met Wednesday with a delegation from the Spanish Ministry of Defense headed by Major General Luis Cebrian Corbonell, who participated in this morning's Independence Day celebrations, whereby talks centered on bilateral cooperation between both armies.

The delegation congratulated the Army Commander on the Independence occasion, expressing gratitude to the Lebanese army for raising the Spanish flag during the "Fajr Al-Jaroud" operation, in solidarity with the Spanish people following the terrorist attack that targeted Barcelona on August 17, 2017
