Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Raja Farooq Haider Khan has expressed concern over continued Indian firing and shelling on Line of Control (LoC) and called upon UN and international
human rights organizations to take notice of the situation.
In a statement issued here Saturday, he said that UN and
human right organization should stop India from aggressiveness as its forces
are engaged in unabated firing and heavy shelling on LoC resulting heavy loss
of lives and property damage of people living along LoC.
He said that objective of unprovoked Indian firing was to
force local population to flee from LoC. He said that that valiant people of
Azad Kashmir living along LOC could not be frightened by such negative tactics.
Farooq said India failed to suppress mass movement in
occupied Kashmir and frustration has compelled India to take revenge from people
living near of LoC. He said that despite using negative tactics, India cannot control
Kashmiri people and force them to accept its hegemony.
PM said Indian rulers have failed to follow UN charter, respect
international norms and also ignored number of resolutions regarding right of
self-determination passed by UN in favor of Kashmiri people.
