Algerian Army arrest 16 smugglers across Mali-Niger borders

The Algerian Army arrested 16 smugglers across Algerian borders with Mail and Niger in the last two days. A statement for National Defense Ministry said that, the smugglers were arrested in Tamanrasset, Ain Ghazzam and Burj Bahi Mukhtar areas near the borders, and the smugglers had tons of food goods, gold exploration equipment, explosives devices, two-wheel drive vehicles and electric generators.

Border Guards on Algeria-Tunisia borders managed to foil the smuggling of 8484 liters of fuel, while the security units in Algeria adopted a special plan to secure the borders during Ramadan in order to stop smuggling operations and secret immigrations.
