Egyptians entering from Libya, Salloum border.

A total of 230 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via the Salloum border crossing over the past 24 hours, a security official said.
Fifteen of the returnees had travelled to Libya illegally, Matrouh Security Chief Hisham Nasr said in a statement on Monday.

Border travel procedures for 1,185 persons, including 301 Egyptians and 884 Libyans, have also been finalised, he added.

A total of 120 trucks were allowed into Egypt from Libya to be loaded with Egyptian goods, he said.

Since the 2011 toppling of dictator Muammar Gaddafi, rival militias have been fighting a weak central government across the country.

Many Egyptians worked in Libya prior to 2011, and some remained despite the instability.
