A sequel to the hit British ghost story \"The Woman in Black\" is in the works, producers said Monday. The Hollywood Reporter said the follow-up will take place in the same haunted house as the original, four decades later. Based on Susan Hill\'s novel, 2011\'s \"The Woman in Black\" is the highest grossing British horror film of the past 20 years, raking in more than $33 million at the U.K. box office and $120 million worldwide. Set at the turn of the last century, it starred Daniel Radcliffe as a young lawyer hired to settle the affairs of the family who once lived in the isolated mansion. While staying in the house to work, he sees a mysterious veiled figure he discovers is the ghost of a woman who killed herself after her son drowned. Once anyone sees the woman in black, a child in the nearby village dies. The Hollywood Reporter said the original film\'s screenwriter Jon Crocker is now developing the script for the sequel, \"The Woman in Black: Angels of Death.\" The follow-up will be based on an original story by Hill and follow a couple who move into the house where the malevolent specter has been seen, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
