The Association of Latin Entertainment Critics of New York has announced the recipients of its 2015 Film Awards.
The 48th annual ACE Awards will be held on March 30th at the Kaufman Center in New York City. The ceremony will be dedicated to actor and composer Johnny Huertas and actress Teresa Yenque of Peru.
The Latin ACE Awards were founded in 1967 to award the most prominent figures of Latin entertainment. This year the films with the most awards were Cantinflas, a movie that documents the private and professional life of Mexican star Mario Moreno and Conducta a Cuban feature that sheds light on the rights of children. Artur Balder's documentary Little Spain, which details hispanic immigration in New York City was also among the winners.

Best Documentary: Little Spain, directed by Artur Balder
Best Opera Prima: Biodegradable, directed by Juan Basanta
Best Lead Actor in a Motion Picture: Óscar Jaenada – Cantinflas
Best Lead Actress in a Motion Picture: Alina Rodríguez – Conducta
Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture: Luis Gerardo Méndez – Cantinflas
Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture: Silvia Águila – Conducta
