The latest film by the Japanese master director Hirokazu Koreeda surpassed the 50,000 mark in attendance 14 days after opening, a big success for an indie film, a market tracker said Thursday. The Korean Film Commission said, "Like Father, Like Son" attracted 54,134 moviegoers to local theaters through Wednesday, topping the local diversity film chart -- a chart for indie and art-house films released in fewer than 100 theaters nationwide.
