Egyptian actress Sherine Reda expressed her frustration for the terrorist incident witnessed in Egypt’s governorate of Giza, saying it is frustration to see those heroes who sacrificed their lives to protect the Egyptian people. She called the Egyptian authorities to take serious steps to achieve retribution as soon as possible.
She praised her participation in the latest song performed by Egyptian actress Youssra, saying that she was extremely happy for participating in this song which is different from any previous work in which she participated before. She stressed her happiness for participating in her ex-husband Amro Diab, saying that they still keep their friendship.
She expressed her appreciation to the organizers of Gouna Film Festival, saying that it is considered one of the great events organized in Egypt during the latest years. She stressed that she is extremely happy for participating in this event, saying that it performs a major role to support Egypt’s cinema industry and to promote tourism during the current critical period.
She described the statements issued by actor Ahmed Al Fishawy that he loves her and asked to marry her many times before as joke, saying that they are just friends.
She added, in a statement to “Al Maghrib Today”, that what Fishawy said during a TV program is one of his jokes, saying that he is a wonderful and talented actor. She stressed that they are friends and he is always keen to joke with his friends from time to time.
On the other hand, she revealed the reasons behind her approval to participate in TV drama show “Hell’s Stone”, saying that it is not only the scenario that pushed her to accept participating in the series, while the whole staff also performed a major role to push her to participate in the new series.
She added the series discusses new and different idea, as it discusses the position of woman in the Arab communities, stressing that drama should discuss the social issues to touch with the daily problems facing the people.
She praised the drama works presented outside the drama season of Ramadan, saying that such works perform a major role to enrich the dramatic career in Egypt. She stressed that there are long TV drama shows that should not be presented during the drama season.
She expressed her appreciation of her career as an actress, saying that she does not feel frustration towards any of the works in which she participated since the beginning of her career as an actress. She added that she received a large number of offers to participate in new drama shows, while she is currently considering them to decide whether to participate in any of them or not.
