The Saudi embassy in Pakistan asked Saudi citizens traveling to Pakistan for kidney transplant operations not to pay money to the brokers who promise to arrange the operations for them, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Monday. Quoting the embassy, the ministry said brokers had embezzled a citizen’s $45,000 by promising to arrange a kidney transplant operation for his father. \"Though a long time has passed, no operation has been conducted so far,\" the statement said. The ministry asked all Saudi citizens wishing to undergo a kidney transplant in Pakistan to not pay money to brokers for their own safety.
