A new Ebola patient has arrived in the United States from Sierra Leone to be treated in Nebraska making him the 10th patient to be treated in the US.
Various media sources reported that Doctor Martin Salia was infected with the virus while treating patients at a hospital in Sierra Leone and it was also reported that he was not treating patients in an Ebola ward.
Dr. Salia, 44, is a permanent resident in the US and is married to a US citizen.
He was reported to be "critically ill" but was in a stable condition to be flown to the University of Nebraska's Medical Center, which has treated two cases before.
