The sea buckthorn berry, which is grown in the Himalayan mountains, has hit shop shelves as a new superfruit to rival broccoli, apples and blueberries. The berry, which contains vitamins A, B1, B2, E and up to 10 times the amount of Vitamin C found in oranges, is said to boost the brain function. Antioxidants in the berries also help to fight obesity, teeth problems, acne, ageism, poor digestion and constipation. It is also said to keep the heart healthy.
