The International Conference on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP) kicked off its congress in South Korea's southern port city of Busan Friday with some 4,000 people from 70 countries taking part in the event. The 10th AIDS congress will run until Tuesday under the theme of "Diverse Voices, United Action," local organizers of the biennial meeting said. The ICAAP is the world's second-largest conference on the disease discovered 30 years ago. This year's event marks the largest international conference held on AIDS in South Korea.
