Fourteen hospitals, with a total in-patient capacity of 2,800 beds, will be constructed during the upcoming period in the region of Makkah. The hospitals will be established successively in the cities of Makkah, Jeddah, Taif and Qunfudah, according to a recent statement by director general of health affairs in the region of Makkah Dr. Khalid bin Obaid Dhafar.
