A 120 million dollar loan pledged by the Saudi Fund for Development to develop Kasr Al-Aini Hospital will not affect the free services provided for the patients, President of Cairo University Gaber Nassar said on Thursday.

"The loan was signed between Saudi Arabia's fund and Egypt's International Cooperation Ministry and the hospital will not be charged to repay it," Nassar told MENA.

The state will repay the loan in 20 years with a grace period of five years, he added.
