United Nations envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed arrived in Sana'a Sunday on a several days' visit.

The visit, his third to the country, aims to speed up reaching a humanitarian truce, Ahmed told the Houthi-controlled news agency.

The UN is intensifying efforts to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis, especially in regard to the humanitarian aspect, he said.
